Repeat workout: Cardio-Camp with Kimberly Spreen

Okay so this was the second time doing this DVD [read about my first Cardio-Camp attempt] and I liked it even more this time round. Last time the editing seemed out of whack, as I had picked from the menu, but when let to run from the warm up thru, the DVD flowed properly. As a result the workout was longer than last time and I burned a nice 516 cals! Thank you Kimberly!

Kimberly Spreen is a lot of fun and this workout was just like a lot of aerobics classes I used to take.  I am now convinced that one of the instructors at my old gym must have had this DVD as I swear that I knew the sequencing of the general cardio section the first time I ever did this workout! The kickboxing add ons are really good and not complicated at all, and in fact the leg and butt segments are effective at making your butt know that it is working out. So many times you go through the motions of an exercise but you don’t feel it enough in the muscle – you’re not focusing on the muscle enough – but you can’t forget about your glutes with this workout. Love it! I am going to look for more Kimberly Spreen DVDs to add to my queue as she is definitely my kind of instructor. P.S. Kim – your web site mentions it’s new, but it’s © 2004 – time to edit the front page a little me thinks…

  1. I know it’s late but I had to say something. I love this instructor too. I have taken her classes and she is awesome. Very funny in person and likeable. She does have some great videos out there too.
