Day 102
It’s been a while since I updated this – I’ve been doing the same workout [Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred - level 1] over and over so not much new to add. This week Monday thru Thursday I did days 7-10 of the shred. I did everything pretty much OK – except for the pushups which I only do in the modified way [on my knees] so I decided that day 11 out of the 30 days would be at level 2. That was to be Friday.
But on Friday [May 16th] I woke up and felt really tired still. I put my workout clothes on to try and get me into the spirit of things but by the time I got the DVD fired up I just knew my body couldn’t take another workout. I needed rest. I guess that’s what can happen when you do this intense workout with additional high intensity cardio for four straight days – I was overtraining.
So basically all of Friday I felt tired and then Saturday I was busy doing mom stuff – doing all my errands that I hadn’t gotten out the way in the week and now, Sunday, I just decided to read and go out for a walk to get some very light exercise into my day.
Stats wise I averaged about 55 minutes with Monday’s workout coming in at 502 cals.
Tomorrow I will be back at full force – level 2 here I come!
